Where the AI comes from, how much of it there is, and how it is shared. The figures are rounded: they change through the day and are read from the chain and from NEAR AI a few times a day.

Where it comes from

NEAR is staked in NEAR AI's β€œStaking for Inference” farm: the project's staking pot (anyone can stake there and take their NEAR back) and the team's own stake. Instead of staking rewards, the farm gives AI credit at NEAR AI, every day, in proportion to the NEAR staked. That credit is what pays for every holder's ⚑. Nobody buys it and nobody sells it.

How it is shared

  1. The day's budget = the new credit of the day + what the days before left unspent. Today: β‰ˆ $1 000 (β‰ˆ $9.5 new, β‰ˆ $1 000 carried over), β‰ˆ $0.02 spent so far.
  2. Split by tokens. Each holder's share is their BRRRAIN Γ· all holders' BRRRAIN, read once a day at 23:45 UTC. Project wallets and contracts get none.
  3. Unspent is not lost. What nobody spends today moves on: 70 % to tomorrow, 20 % to the day after, 10 % to the third day, and what is still unspent then moves on again. ⚑ that one holder does not use ends up with those who do.
  4. No sharp drops. A token's ⚑ falls at most 5 % a day once trading is open (50 % a day during the airdrop), so a sudden rush of buyers or a quiet day does not swing everyone's quota at once.
  5. During the airdrop, before trading opens, ⚑ per token is capped at $5.5 a day per million tokens, and the cap rises 5 % a day. What the cap holds back stays in the budget for later days. The cap ends for good when trading opens.
